The Radio Programme
In order to effectively disseminate information to the business populace of Botswana, the Association acquired a thirty minutes slot on the National Radio Station. The programme known as Lentswe la Mogwebi is broadcast every Tuesday at 5.00 pm. The public is informed of different types of businesses and how they can engage in them. It offers educational, awareness building and other trade related information.
There has been an overwhelming response from the general public. People around the country have acknowledged that it has been an eye opener into what business they can do for themselves, for their Communities and how they can go about it. They also have expressed interest in more information about update on business trends around the world so that they are able to make informed decisions on time.
Annual Catalogue and Bi-annual News Bulletin
The First Botswana products from all sectors catalogue was introduced by EAOB in 1996 and the first issue was published in 1997. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry joined hands with EAOB and EAOB has already published two 1997 News Bulletins, known as 'Export Business Guide'=. The catalogue for 1998 and beyond will be on EAOB web site to be accessed by the world, this will market Botswana and its products much better.
